Through the use of an inward airflow pattern, these cabinets safeguard both employees and the environment. Air is pulled from the room, processed through a HEPA filter, and then recirculated into the cabinet. A part of the filtered air is vented outside the cabinet. Class II Type A1 cabinets have an inflow velocity of 75 linear feet per minute (fpm) at the face opening and are ideal for working with low to moderate risk biological agents.
